The science behind tears says that it's clear liquid secreted by the lacrimal glands(tear glands) found in the eyes of all the land mammals except goat and rabbit.
Functions of tears
1.lubricating the eyes
2.removing irritants
3.and aiding the immune system
Now comes the most common function..tears occur as a part of body's natural pain response. Pain response which means tears disclose the grief through eyes.
Tears are a means of emotional response like grief or joy and it helps to release the stress. Just like other hormones release to build up the human body and helps to perform different functions of the body ..tears also helps to release the emotions and mental stress
When in pain, we cry and tears roll down ..it shows how painful the reason is, which makes us cry.
The reasons can be regret, inferiority, betrayal, chided by someone, beaten by someone, wound, anger, fear or anything which hurts.
Sometimes we cry to express joy. sometimes tears trickle down due to humour and laughter. How touched it feels when tears secretes out of joy. That happiness really means a lot.
If that happiness matters which are expressed by tears then why the grief doesn't matters?
We cry when we really feel helpless. We just want to let flow the pain from the eyes. We feel relaxed after that.
Sometimes it is used as a defence mechanism , it can be fake and we can sense that.
If someone is crying it simply means they are feeling and expressing the pain or grief.
If you sense the grief of a person crying in front of you or in front of anyone...do care about them.
And those who distress themselves and confide their tears should let it flow once in a while , no matter anyone cares or not the human body cares, it will help to remove the stress.
The tides in the ocean causes tsunami but the same tides when wave slowly on the shore and touch the feet, it profuse a sense calmness to every part of the body.
